THE PERSON BEHIND THE SCREEN

Abby Guy is a high school student that has taken her experience with bullying due to stereotypes and channeled it into this platform, "Shattering Stereotypes". In 2017, Abby came up with the idea after talking to her friends and seeing that they were deeply affected by their stereotypes, too. As founder of Shattering Stereotypes, Abby writes articles on topics she is passionate about, coordinates other posts written by friends, and makes appearances on behalf of the platform in preschools throughout the community in the hopes of shattering stereotypes before they even begin using books.
